Shiva Namaskar should be done throughout the sadhana period either before sunrise or after sunset. You must do it 21 times at a stretch on an empty stomach. After Shiva Namaskar, please sit in a cross-legged posture and allow your breath to settle. After your breath settles, please keep both your palms facing upward on your lap and do 3 cycles of the Sarvebhyo chant.
To create a conducive ambiance for sadhana, place a Dhyanalinga photo and light a lamp in front of it. You can do Shiva Namaskar in this space.
